What We Do
While in your home or office, we'll explain any products you're interested in and tell you the advantages and disadvantages of those products. We'll accurately measure your windows and give you an itemized estimate in writing. We refuse to use high-pressure sales tactics. for this reason, you're estimate will be good for 30 days. There is never an obligation to purchase nor is there a minimum purchase required. Most of the interior products we sell come with a manufacture's lifetime warranty. Most exterior products, such as awnings and rolling shutters, come with a ten year warranty and most motors come with a one to three year warranty. At The Blind Man, we also offer a free lifetime in-home service warranty (see our service warranty page for more details). We have over 100,000 blinds, shades, and shutters on the market and in 20 years have never charged for the in-home service of any of our products under the warranty.

What Sets Us Apart
Knowledge - each TBM franchise is independently owned and operated, so you are dealing with the owner. Window coverings are what we do. We've sold, installed and repaired thousands more blinds than your average box store, specialty store, or department store employee. It's what makes us experts in window coverings.

Real Service - "We Come To You" - Admittedly, it's much easier for a window coverings dealer, like those mentioned above, to hang some displays, set out samples and wait for prospective customers to come to them. At The Blind Man, we choose to earn your business. You don't come to us, we'll come to you. You'll select your products and colors in your home, not at their store. You don't have to measure ... we're the experts, we'll do that. We know how to deal with out-of-square windows, depth requirements for different products, check for possible obstructions in windows, etc. And of course, if a window is measured incorrectly, we pay for it, not you! When your order is ready, don't bother coming to pick it up, we'll deliver it! We might as well since we're going to install them. We've got the tools and the know-how. We've installed tens of thousands of these things. For us, it's no problem. And we guarantee our installation for as long as you own your blinds.

Service After The Sale - When you purchase your blinds from TBM, you're a customer for life ... well for as long as you own your blinds anyway. We want you to be assured that you're buying quality, smooth operating products. So with TBM, you'll receive a free in-home lifetime service warranty ... in writing. If you purchase your blinds, shutters, shades, etc. from those other guys and ever have a problem, it's up to you to uninstall them, deliver them to your place of purchase and then ... wait. Yep, chances are those guys don't do repairs either, so they'll have to ship your blinds back to the manufacturer for warranty repairs and all the while you're without your window coverings. Terrible thing! Don't worry when it finally does come back, all you have to do is drive back to the store ... again, and pick it up and take home and reinstall it, again. That's not right. At TBM if you ever have a problem with one of our products, we'll come out to you, and with 90% of our service calls we'll fix the problem right there on the job. If it's a problem that can't be fixed; we'll take it down, ship it in for repairs, bring it back and re-install it for you; all at no charge. Now that's service!

Integrity - The Blind Man is one of the largest window coverings dealers in all of Colorado. And we didn't get that way with gimmicks. At The Blind Man, we don't stoop to come-on advertising like "70% OFF" or "FREE everything". Companies promising huge discounts do so by offering those discounts off an over-inflated Manufacturer's Suggested Retail (MSR). This is very common and very misleading. "Free" is a codeword for included. Instead of itemizing what each service is costing you, the dealers just hide it all into the price of their blinds. They then advertise those services as "Free". Again...very misleading. Here at The Blind Man, we won't insult your intelligence. We are competetively priced and all of our services are included in the price. Simple and honest.
